Amelec Australia Pty Ltd are the manufacturers of interVOLT marine electronic equipment. interVOLT products were first introduced on the Australian market in July 2001 with the release of a range of Switchmode Voltage Converters for 24VDC-12VDC step-down. They are the first purpose made product of this type for the marine market produced in Australia. interVOLT products are Australian 'C' Tick and European 'CE' certified. In 2002 Amelec plan to introduce a new galvanically isolated version of the popular SVC which will be known as the SVCiand also an exciting new range of isolated Switchmode Power Conditioners or SPCi's. The SPCi range has been specifically developed to resolve onboard power fluctuations i.e. dips, surges, lags, spikes transients, etc in both 12VDC and 24VDC applications.
