Ausmelt Technology represents the processing development, patents and operating and engineering know-how accumulated in the application of top submerged lancing to a wide range of non-ferrous and ferrous smelting processes. Of particular interest is the capability of the technology to enhance the economics of smaller scale operations across a range of materials processing. Ausmelt Technology is simple to operate, innovative and versatile, making it appropriate to use in modernising existing smelters. Ausmelt furnaces may be retro-fitted to existing plants to replace furnaces of older design, or added to increase plant production by treating process streams that might otherwise be discharged as waste, or by providing additional process capability not available using other systems.
