Schaffler Associates Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company. We specialise exclusively in the design and manufacture of railway auxiliary power electronic products. Manufacturing is at the company works in Sydney. Our primary products are leading edge battery chargers, inverters and converters. Recent product designs have focused on reducing the excessive weight of power equipment by up to 70%. Our design engineers have vast experience in power engineering. Our designs are tailored to the rough, high temperature environments experienced by railway products in many countries, particularly Australia, where ambient temperatures commonly exceed 60 degrees Celsius. Our key specialty is the retrofitting of equipment to existing spaces and wiring, reducing downtime so that rolling stock are returned to service as soon as possible. We are careful to listen to our customer's needs so that we can solve their power electronic product challenges.
