In the early 1970 s, Murray Tyrrell released Australia s first ever commercial Chardonnay and pioneered the Pinot Noir grape. Tyrrell s are regularly selected to be poured in first class on international airlines and are rated amongst Australia s finest quality wine producers. Our key wines are Chardonnay, Semillon, Shiraz and Pinot Noir. Rufus Stone Wines are sourced from selected vineyards owned by Tyrrell s in McLaren Vale, Coonawarra (South Australia) and Heathcote (Victoria).
