The system mixes air with water, and this is what makes the showers have a strong comfortable spray, similar to an air venturi in a spa bath. When you pull the air jets up on a spa bath the air is sucked in through the hole and a thrust of bubbly water bursts into the bath. With the air venturi built in our shower heads the water mixes with air inside the rose causing turbulence and spinning very fast (self-cleaning), that when the water releases through the holes in the shower head it gains extra velocity giving a strong shower using only 7.5 litres or less minute, (normal showers use 22 plus litres per minute). When water and air mix together, they cause air bubbles covered in water, when the bubbles hit your skin they pop and the water sticks to you. Where as with other showers, a full bead of water bounces off you, therefore it takes more water to wet you. So you actually get wetter under an E-Co Shower.
